Fully rigged and ready to shoot the powerful, fast, streamline and well balanced Rob Allen Carbon Railgun appeals to those who prefer to hunt at greater depth or in the best of or the not so preferred water conditions. Extremely light, you can reach greater depths for a wide range of target species.

Barrel
Rob Allen Carbon railbarrels are pullwound in a continuous process using 3 to 4 tons of tension. This allows the fibre loading to be maintained at a much higher level than in conventional mandrel wound tubes as used by other manufacturers. As 100 % carbon fibre is used at the highest possible loading, along with an integral rail further adding to the stiffness, the Rob Allen Carbon railbarrels are the best in the world. Each barrel is pressure tested twice – first with air immediately after the initial pullwinding process and then after assembly in our hydraulic test chamber to the equivalent of 40m depth for one hour.

Mechanism & Line Release
The Black Glass reinforced Nylon mechanism comes standard with a Stainless Steel Line Release. Designed with Carbon Barrels in mind, the internal spigot and external shrouds grip the barrel to avoid stress at the screw holes. Guns from the 110 cm upward have a “muzzle brake” weight fitted internally behind the muzzle. This balances the gun when aiming and reduces muzzle lift and recoil on firing.

Muzzle & Reel
The Rob Allen Carbon rails supports the spear the full length of the barrel and continues on into the muzzle. The integrated rail adds further strength, enabling it to handle strong rubbers and be used in longer lengths without flexing. The Rob Allen Carbon Railgun comes with your choice of the Open or Closed Low Profile Muzzle that can hold double circular bands. This muzzle is lower in profile than most conventional muzzles and holds the band(s) below the spear to make tracking and aiming easier. This speargun can also have the Rob Allen Composite Reel or Rob Allen Composite Belt Reel attached after market.
