The Andre PLATINUM 165 speargun is your ideal blue water model for spearfishing large pelagic fish, such as tuna. The PLATINUM 165 Speargun offers the longest stock, thickest shaft, five powerbands, and continuous tapered balance wings that run down the length of the stock.

With our longest stock, 66 inches, the PLATINUM 165 Speargun gives you the most shooting range and highest accuracy, guiding the shaft to its target.

The PLATINUM 165 speargun uses the largest diameter shaft. 17-4 PH Heat Treated Steel gradually cooled. The thicker steel has greater resistance from huge fish bending it.

The PLATINUM 165 is our most powerful speargun. It has 5 power bands and is best equip for large, quick game fish like tuna! Firing your shaft at high enough speeds to penetrate large game fish from a distance of 29 feet.

The PLATINUM 165 speargun features handle placement mid-way on the stock. The mid-way handle design improves maneuverability, aiming views, and decreases recoil. Maneuverability is improved by bringing the the speargun's end closer to the elbow, fitting the arm's natural geometry. This also gives you a better aiming view, looking down upon the tip and superimposing it onto it's target. The mid-way handle is also for hip loading leverage. You can rest the butt on your belt buckle, or hip, without having the handle in the way. The butt extension makes it easier to pull the power bands back.

With 5 power bands we like to use the Enclosed track to keep the shaft from skipping or rotating.  The Enclosed Track ensures accuracy, guiding the shaft to its target!

The PLATINUM 165 offers tapered balance wings from front to rear for maximum stability & highest accuracy. The continuous tapered balance wings are designed to  move easily through the water. Most importantly, the balance wings add mass & decreases vertical & horizontal recoil, in return,  increasing accuracy.
