The PLATINUM 165 is a CANNON! If you want our most powerful Tuna-Gun, this is it. This speargun is maxed out with five powerbands for a tremendous shooting range of 29 feet!

The Platinum 165 has continuous tapered balance wings from front to rear for maximum stability & highest accuracy. The balance wings are ballasted teakwood with a dark stain for beauty and contrast. They are designed to move easily through the water and guide your speargun while tracking the fish . Balance wings add mass to decrease vertical and horizontal recoil, in return, increasing accuracy.

The PLATINUM 165 is our longest stock at 66 inches to give you a greater reach and more power.

The PLATINUM 165 speargun also features mid-handle placement which brings the speargun closer to the body and improves maneuverability. The shaft & mechanism sit further back on the PLATINUM 165 to increase band pull and increase power.

The spear track is ENCLOSED to guide the spear accurately down the barrel, with five powerbands we fine the Enclosed track a must. The groove is durable and an excellent design feature compared to eye hole spear tracks which break easily and reduce accuracy.

The PLATINUM 165 speargun uses our larger diameter spear - 11/32. The spear is more durable, resisting damage from the fish bending it.

I used my Platinum 165 all last week at San Benitos Island. Most importantly, the GUN SHOOTS SCARY STRAIGHT!!!!!!! Secondly, the power at 20 foot plus in devastating to the Fish on the other end!!!! While Diving with a Cencal team member he couldn't get close to a large yellow tail. I shot the fish while he watched because I had the range. He was very impressed with the power and accurancy. The design on the wings allows for great lateral movement as well on great vertical mobility. The mid-handle balanced the gun perfectly!!! The tip maintained the point the entire trip. Line release pocket is NICE & easy to load. The gun was also the best looking gun on the boat."
