The Andre GOLD 160 speargun is an excellent speargun for blue water spearfishing. The GOLD 160 has one of our longest stocks, 64 inches, giving you an even greater reach and additional accuracy. The GOLD 160 speargun is one of our most powerful spearguns. It has 4 power bands and is well equipped for large game fish like tuna! The GOLD 160 speargun is the fist model to use a 5/16" shaft. The GOLD 160 speargun also features mid-handle placement. The mid-way handle design improves maneuverability by bringing the speargun closer to the body. The shaft & mechanism sit further back on Mid-handle models, increasing band pull and increasing power. The mid-way handle is also for hip loading leverage. As you pull the power bands back, the butt extension makes it easy to rest the butt of the speargun on your hip without the handle getting in your way. The spear track is recessed into the stock to guide the spear accurately down the barrel. The groove is durable and an excellent design feature compared to eye hole spear tracks which break easily and reduce accuracy.
